Job Description: Production Support Engineer (Advanced SQL) Location: Noida Experience: 7–9 Years Shift: Ready to work in US Shift (Night Shift) and India Shift Employment Type: Full-Time Role Overview We are looking for an experienced Production Support Engineer with strong expertise in Advanced SQL and a proven background in application and data support. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning of production systems, troubleshooting complex issues, and maintaining high availability and performance. Key Responsibilities Provide L2/L3 production support for critical business applications and data systems Monitor production systems, identify issues, and ensure timely resolution within SLA Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for incidents and implement preventive measures Write and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and performance tuning Hands-on Experienced in Bash scripts, Shell scripts. Handle data analysis, data fixes, and data validation in production environments Work closely with development, QA, and business teams for issue resolution Manage incident, problem, and change management using ITIL processes Perform batch monitoring, job scheduling, and failure handling Support deployment activities and ensure system stability post-release Create and maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and knowledge base articles Required Skills & Qualifications Technical Skills Strong expertise in Advanced SQL (joins, indexing, query tuning, execution plans, performance optimization) Experience with RDBMS such as SQL Server, Oracle, or PostgreSQL Bash scripts , Shell Scripts Hands-on experience in data analysis and troubleshooting production issues Knowledge of Unix/Linux commands and shell scripting Familiarity with ETL processes / Data Warehousing concepts Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., Splunk, AppDynamics, Dynatrace, etc.) Understanding of batch processing, scheduling tools (e.g., Autosys, Control-M, CAWA) Functional Skills Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Experience in handling high-priority incidents under pressure Good understanding of ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change Management) Ability to communicate effectivel

Preferred Skills
- Exposure to Big Data technologies (Databricks, Spark, Teradata DB.) is an advantage
- Knowledge of ticketing tools like ServiceNow, JIRA is an advantage

Education
