Job Summary
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and Enhance web and desktop features across .NET Framework 4.8 and .NET 8 applications.
- Frontend Development build and maintain UI using Angular and ASP.NET, applying Angular Material UI patterns.
- API and Integration design, implement, and consume RESTful Web Services; maintain existing WCF services where applicable.
- Background Processing develop and support Windows Services and scheduled/background jobs.
- Database Development write and optimize T‑SQL and PL/SQL, design stored procedures, and tune queries for MS SQL Server and Oracle DB.
- Third‑party UI Components maintain and extend desktop UIs using component suites such as Telerik, DevExpress, or Infragistics.
- Support and Troubleshooting investigate production incidents, perform root cause analysis, and deliver timely fixes.
- Upgrade Path: Lead and support upgrades of applications from .NET 8 to .NET 10 as needed.
- Code Quality and Collaboration write unit/integration tests, perform code reviews, use Git for version control, and participate in Agile ceremonies.
- Delivery Practices contribute to CI/CD pipelines and automated builds; help improve deployment reliability and release processes.
- Documentation produce clear technical documentation and handovers for maintainability.
Required Technical Skills
- Frameworks: .NET Framework 4.8 and .NET 8 (.NET Core).
- Desktop: Windows Forms development experience.
- Frontend: Angular (modern versions) and ASP.NET; familiarity with Angular Material UI.
- APIs: Hands‑on experience building and consuming REST APIs; familiarity with WCF is a plus.
- Background Services: Development and troubleshooting of Windows Services.
- Databases: Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle DB; strong T‑SQL and PL/SQL skills.
