Job Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled Polarion Senior Developer with strong expertise in the Aerospace domain. The candidate will be responsible for developing, customizing, and integrating Polarion ALM solutions, ensuring scalable, high-performance implementations aligned with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and customize Polarion ALM solutions using scripting, extensions, and APIs.Develop and enhance workflows, forms, LiveDocs, and custom plugins/extensions in Polarion.Implement advanced customization using Java, Velocity, JavaScript, and Polarion SDK/APIs.Build and support integrations between Polarion and enterprise systems (PLM, ERP, MES, testing tools).Collaborate with Architects/Tech Leads to translate functional requirements into scalable technical solutions.Develop custom reports, dashboards, and automation scripts to improve lifecycle visibility and efficiency.Support compliance implementations aligned with DO-178C, DO-254, ARP4754A, AS9100.Participate in data migration activities, including scripting, data transformation, and validation.Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to performance, configuration, and integrations.Implement best practices for version control, code quality, and deployment within Polarion environment.Mentor junior developers and provide guidance on Polarion development standards and best practices.

Skill Requirements

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field5–10+ years of experience in Polarion ALM development/customizationStrong expertise in Java, scripting (Velocity, JavaScript), and Polarion SDK/APIsExperience in developing extensions, plugins, and integrations for ALM toolsGood understanding of requirements management, test management, and traceability conceptsExposure to aerospace standards (DO-178C, DO-254, ARP4754A, AS9100)Experience with integration frameworks, REST APIs, and web servicesFamiliarity with Agile/Waterfall methodologiesStrong problem-solving and debugging skillsGood communication and collaboration skills
