Job Summary

 

Job Title:        AUTOSYS Administrator


Location:

Ile‑de‑France (La Défense)

Language:

Years of relevant experience:

5+ years

 

Overview:

Provide expert administration and evolution of Autosys scheduling services.

Lead upgrades to the latest Autosys release and ensure production readiness.

Migrate on‑prem servers to public cloud with secure, automated deployments.

Industrialize installations and changes via Ansible, Terraform, Puppet and APIs.

Contribute to incident/change processes and support distributed teams.

 

Responsibilities

  • Administer and operate Autosys platforms at expert level.
  • Plan and execute version upgrades (e.g., v24) with minimal disruption.
  • Migrate ~20 servers to public cloud environments.
  • Automate installations and updates using Ansible, Terraform and Puppet.
  • Develop and use APIs to industrialize deployment and job management.
  • Design and document Autosys architecture for internal and public cloud.
  • Maintain operational conditions of scheduling/orchestration tools.
  • Handle incidents and changes following ITIL‑aligned practices.
  • Support engineering and operations teams across France, India and USA.
  • Monitor, analyze and improve reliability and security of scheduling services.

 

Mandatory skills:

  • Expert knowledge of Autosys administration.
  • Linux (Red Hat) administration.
  • Automation with Ansible (and Terraform/Puppet).
  • Scripting (Shell, Python).
  • ITIL‑aligned incident and change management.

 

Appreciated skills :

  • Git/GitHub and CI practices.
  • Perl or PHP scripting.
  • Experience deploying Autosys agents at scale.
  • Cloud security best practices for public cloud.
  • Experience with production scheduling/orchestration tooling.
