Job Summary
- Job Title: SAP IS-Oil HPM & Silo Consultant
Key Responsibilities:
- HPM & Silo Management: Configure and manage physical inventories in tanks and silos. Enable users to create tank dips in the system and compare physical inventory with book stocks to identify gains and losses.
- QCI Integration: Configure the Quantity Conversion Interface (QCI) and oil quantity calculators to ensure precise density, temperature, and volume corrections.
- Inventory Reconciliation: Design and validate processes for bulk inventory reconciliation across refineries and terminals.
- Module Integration: Integrate HPM processes seamlessly with core SAP modules including Materials Management (MM) (Inventory Management), Sales and Distribution (SD), and Logistics Execution (LE).
- Support & Documentation: Create functional design documents for RICEFW (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, and Workflows) objects and collaborate with technical teams for seamless system updates and support.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Experience: 5+ years of hands-on experience working with SAP IS-Oil modules, specifically with strong expertise in HPM and Silo Management.
- Domain Knowledge: Solid understanding of the Downstream Oil, Gas, and Chemical industry.
- Technical Skills: Deep familiarity with QCI, Unit of Measure (UOM) conversion, and Inventory Management interfaces.
- Certifications: Certifications in Quantityware or SAP IS-Oil solutions are highly desired.
- Soft Skills: Strong analytical capabilities, problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate across various business and IT stakeholder levels
Key Responsibilities
2. To conduct comprehensive code reviews, establish and oversee quality assurance processes, performance optimization , implementation of best practices and coding standards to ensure successful delivery of complex projects.
3. To ensure process compliance in the assigned module| and participate in technical discussions/review as a technical consultant for feasibility study (technical alternatives, best packages, supporting architecture best practices, technical risks, breakdown into components, estimations).
4. To collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, deliverables and accordingly prepare and submit status reports for minimizing exposure & closure of escalations.
