Senior Technical Lead

Job Summary

6+ years of hands-on Android application development experience using Kotlin and Java.

2. Mandatory 3+ years experience in Android HMI and Android Automotive OS (AAOS) application development.

3. Hands-on experience in Infotainment (IVI), Instrument Cluster, Media, Navigation, Vehicle Data, Connectivity, or Connected Car applications.

4. Strong understanding of Android Automotive UX, driver distraction guidelines, glanceability principles, and safety-first UI design.

5. Experience with Car App Library, automotive application lifecycle, permissions, and platform restrictions.

6. Hands-on experience with Jetpack Compose, MVVM/MVI architecture, ViewModel, Navigation Components, Coroutines, and StateFlow.

7. Experience developing multi-display applications for IVI, Cluster, and large-screen automotive environments.

8. Strong knowledge of real-time vehicle data visualisation, telemetry-driven applications, and performance optimisation.

9. Experience with AIDL, Android IPC mechanisms, MediaSession, and Audio Focus handling.

10. Experience with OEM customisation, Runtime Resource Overlay (RRO), branding, and UI theming.

11. Familiarity with  REST APIs, Git, Gerrit, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile development methodologies.

12. Experience with JUnit, Mockito, Espresso, Compose UI Testing, and delivering production-grade automotive software with high code quality.
