"TElecom Product Testing
• Education & Experience
o Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or an equivalent field
o 5-8 years of relevant experience in functional and performance testing of telecom application deployed over linux/ Container platform (OCP, GCS or similar PaaS platform)
• Mandatory skills
o Strong foundation in system software testing of Applications deployed on linux based VM or container platform
o Proficient experience in Linux command for application testing(MUST), Test case automation through Shell Scripting (preferred) or Python.
o Working exposure to test application following agile framework, Candidate should be well versed to use agile development tools like JIRA and plan execution based on allocation done on kanban board.
o Candidate should have working knowledge to deploy and test application using Linux commands
o Working knowledge on Kubernetes is preferred. Experience on testing applications deployed on PaaS platform like OCP or GCS is added advantage.
o Candidate should be able to break down function requirements in required JIRA issues for functional testing and complete test execution under release plan schedule.
o Candidate should have Linux experience to develop automation scripts and run existing scripts for regression testing.
o Knowledge of Kubernetes and containerization technologies; public cloud Kubernetes (EKS/AKS/GKE) experience is a plus
o Candidate having exposure to telecom protocol like HTTP/s, Radius, Diameter is an added advantage and would be preferred.
o Knowledge of BDD, Jmeter , python with exposure Pytest or similar frameworks for performance testing and automation.
• What we are NOT looking for
o UI testers/ front end testing.
o Testers doing functional testing on UI through Selenium
o Candidates who are not individual contributors and are managing test teams without hands on.

Key Responsibilities
2. To conduct comprehensive code reviews, establish and oversee quality assurance processes, performance optimization , implementation of best practices and coding standards to ensure successful delivery of complex projects.
3. To ensure process compliance in the assigned module| and participate in technical discussions/review as a technical consultant for feasibility study (technical alternatives, best packages, supporting architecture best practices, technical risks, breakdown into components, estimations).
4. To collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, deliverables and accordingly prepare and submit status reports for minimizing exposure & closure of escalations.
