Senior Technical Lead

Job Summary

  • PowerShell scripting , Python, VB scripting
  • Batch scripting
  • Experience with Globalscape EFT, DMZ gateway including installation/upgrade/configure on the multiple multitenant HA cluster, Server/site administration, Automation development(Events/Workflows).

  • The Globalscape Server Administrator is responsible for the design, implementation, maintenance, security, and optimization of enterprise server environments supporting secure file transfer, managed file transfer (MFT), and related infrastructure platforms. This role ensures high availability, performance, and security compliance across production and non-production systems.

     

    Globalscape / EFT Administration

     

    • Install, configure, and maintain Globalscape EFT (Enhanced File Transfer) and DMZ
    • Manage SFTP, FTPS, HTTPS protocols
    • Configure workflows, automation, and event rules
    • Maintain high availability (HA) and clustering setups
    • Monitor performance and troubleshoot file transfer issues
    • Sites creation/deletion 

Key Responsibilities

Security & Compliance

 

  • Implement SSL/TLS/Ciphers/KEX algorithm's certificates
  • Harden servers according to security standards
  • Conduct vulnerability remediation
  • Support compliance frameworks
  • Manage firewall rules and network security policies

 

Database & Storage

 

  • SQL Queries 
  • Should have knowledge SAN/NAS integration with Globalscape. 
  • AWS S3/Cloud connector. 

Skill Requirements

Monitoring & Performance

 

  • Use monitoring tools (Datadog, Wireshark and Splunk) 
  • Analyze TED logs and resolve incidents 
  • Capacity planning and performance tuning

 

Automation & Scripting

 

  • PowerShell scripting , Python, VB scripting
  • Batch scripting
  • Automate routine administrative tasks
  • Webservices/REST API calls

 

Other Requirements

 Support & Troubleshooting

 

·                  Provide L2/L3 support for Globalscape.

·                  Troubleshoot Inbound/Outbound, Event rules/Workflows problems.

·                  Coordinate with network, security, and site admins teams

 

Required Skills & Qualifications

 

  • Experience with Globalscape EFT, DMZ gateway including installation/upgrade/configure on the multiple multitenant HA cluster, Server/site administration, Automation development(Events/Workflows).
  • Strong networking knowledge (TCP/IP, VPN, firewalls) 
  • Experience with clustering and load balancing 
  • SQL queries. 
  • Windows/Linux knowledge
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
  • Documentation expertise
