SAP PS Consultant – Aircraft Completions

Position Purpose

To design and deliver SAP S/4HANA Project Systems (PS) capabilities that enable the SAP solution definition of an Aircraft Completions business, supporting complex, engineer-to-order interior customisation projects.  The role ensures that SAP effectively supports:

• Project structuring for aircraft completions (zones, systems, interiors)
• End-to-end planning, scheduling, costing, and execution control
• Integration with supply chain, maintenance, and finance processes

Key Responsibilities

Key Objectives

• Support completions-related workshops (project structuring, scheduling, costing, and engineering BOM integration).
• Participate in fit-to-standard workshops and assist in capturing business requirements for project-driven manufacturing.
• Assist in analysing current completions processes and documenting requirements, gaps, and improvement opportunities.
• Contribute to to-be process design for SAP Project Systems (PS) under direction from senior consultants.

• Implement SAP PS to support complex completions project lifecycle management
• Define scalable project structures (WBS, networks) aligned to engineering and manufacturing requirements

• Prepare functional specifications for PS-related enhancements and integrations.
• Execute functional unit testing and support integration testing across PS and dependent modules.
• Support defect analysis, resolution, and validation during testing cycles.
• Maintain PS process documentation, configuration records, and test artefacts in line with programme standards.

• Ensure seamless integration with MM (SCM), PM/EAM, and FI/CO
• Support global template design and rollout
• Drive standardisation and best practices for project-driven manufacturing within S/4HANA

Skill Requirements

Skills / Knowledge / Experience – Required

• Strong hands-on experience in SAP Project Systems (PS) in S/4HANA
• WBS and network configuration
• Project planning, scheduling, and milestones
• Capacity and resource planning
• Project costing and budgeting
• Proven experience integrating PS with:
• MM / Supply Chain (procurement, material staging)
• PM / EAM (installation, modification activities)
• FI/CO (cost tracking, settlement, reporting)
• Experience in engineer-to-order or project-based manufacturing environments
• Experience in full lifecycle S/4HANA implementations

Skills / Knowledge / Experience – Preferred

• SAP PM, PP, or related module certification.
• SAP Activate certification.
• Agile delivery experience.
• Prior iMRO experience (desired but not required).
