Job Summary

1. 6+ years of professional experience in Middleware / Backend / Integration development.
2. Strong experience with API management platforms and RESTful services.
3. Hands-on experience with microservices architecture and backend frameworks like Spring Boot, Node.js, or .NET Core.
4. Strong understanding of asynchronous programming and event-driven systems (Kafka, Event Hub).
5. Experience with Azure cloud services such as API Management, Service Bus, Event Grid, Functions, and AKS.
6. Experience with containerization using Docker and orchestration using Kubernetes. • Knowledge of security protocols including OAuth2, OpenID Connect, and JWT.
7. Experience integrating enterprise platforms like Amadeus, CRM (Dynamics), and payment systems.
8. Strong understanding of performance optimization, scalability, and distributed system design.
9. Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
10. Knowledge of observability tools like Datadog, Azure Monitor, or App Insights.
11. Excellent problem-solving skills and strong object-oriented design practices. 
12. Experience working in Agile/SAFe environments is an advantage.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop high-quality middleware services and APIs as part of a fast-paced, high-performing engineering team.

Build scalable API service broker layers enabling seamless integration across channels and backend systems.

Apply architectural best practices including microservices, event-driven architecture, and domain-driven design.

Work closely with Product Owners, architects, and cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable solutions.

Develop and manage API lifecycle using Azure API Management including policies such as throttling, caching, and security.

Build and maintain microservices using frameworks like Spring Boot, Node.js, or .NET.

Design and implement event-driven workflows and real-time streaming solutions using Kafka or Azure Event Hub.

Integrate with enterprise systems including Amadeus, CRM, Payment, Loyalty, and third-party platforms.

Take ownership of performance optimization, ensuring systems are scalable, resilient, and efficient.

Implement security best practices including OAuth2, JWT, and secure API exposure.

Actively participate in full development lifecycle including design, implementation, testing, and continuous improvement.

Implement observability using monitoring tools such as Azure Monitor, App Insights, or Datadog.

Conduct code reviews, share best practices, and mentor junior developers.

Collaborate in an agile environment focused on innovation, engineering excellence, and continuous learning.
