Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Technical Expert with a minimum of 5 to 8 years of experience in application development and automation. The selected candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise-grade web applications and automation solutions. This role requires strong technical expertise, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to deliver high-quality solutions aligned with organisational standards and best practices

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, integrate, and maintain web applications using C#, HTML, CSS, and modern frameworks such as Blazor.
• Develop and enhance automation solutions, including PowerShell scripts and workflow automation processes.
• Build, configure, and maintain CI/CD pipelines, including pipeline definitions using YAML where applicable.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, analyse technical challenges, and deliver scalable solutions.
• Manage source code repositories, including code check-in/check-out, branching strategies, and version control using Azure DevOps Services.
• Track, manage, and update development tasks using work item tracking systems within Azure DevOps.
• Implement and contribute to test-driven development (TDD) practices to ensure code quality and reliability.
• Ensure application performance, scalability, and maintainability through effective design and coding standards.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application and deployment-related issues in a timely manner.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, design artefacts, and process documentation.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of engineering practices.

Skill Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in software development.
• Strong proficiency in C# and object-oriented programming concepts.
• Solid experience with HTML and CSS for user interface development.
• Working knowledge of database systems (relational or non-relational).
• Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps Services, including:
• Source code management
• Work item tracking
• Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
• Hand-on experience in Azure web services, and also good to have experience in related services like load balancer, front door, storage account, entra id , azure monitor, but not limited to. 
• Experience in developing or supporting automation solutions.
• Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies.
• Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD) and writing maintainable, testable code.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Experience with Blazor and .NET Core / ASP.NET Core.
• Familiarity with JavaScript and client-side scripting.
• Experience with Kusto Query Language (KQL) for data analysis.
• Knowledge of YAML for pipeline configuration and automation.
• Proficiency in Power BI for data visualisation and reporting.
• Experience with DAX for creating data models and calculated measures.
• Exposure to PowerShell scripting for operational automation.
• Experience with REST APIs or web-based integrations.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, particularly Microsoft Azure.
