Paris  (onsite & remote, 50% remote)

Overview:

The CONTROL-M Administrator will provide expert-level support for the administration, migration, and automation of CONTROL-M environments within production infrastructure. The role involves high-level expertise in system administration, cloud migration, automation, and technical support, contributing to the transformation and modernization of scheduling tools and infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

  • Administer CONTROL-M at the highest level of expertise
  • Lead version upgrades (e.g., to V9.0.21 in 2024)
  • Migrate 50 physical servers to cloud (AIX to Linux) using Terraform, Puppet, Ansible
  • Automate installation and update tasks, including API programming
  • Deploy solutions in public and internal clouds, ensuring security compliance
  • Maintain tools, including on-call and weekend operations
  • Assist with architecture and deployment of CONTROL-M in cloud environments
  • Develop operational tools for agent deployment and job automation
  • Apply ITIL practices: incident and change management
  • Develop APIs using BMC CONTROL-M APIs
  • Ensure product hardening and security

Mandatory skills:

  • Expertise in BMC CONTROL-M administration
  • Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux
  • Automation scripting: Puppet, Ansible, Shell Unix, Perl, PHP, Python
  • API development (BMC CONTROL-M APIs, Python)
  • Cloud migration and deployment (Terraform, Puppet, Ansible)
  • ITIL process management
  • Git, GitHub for version control
  • Product hardening and security best practices
