Senior Technical Lead

Job Summary

Lead Software Engineer with 7+ yrs of experience

Should have 7+ years of experience as Big Data Functional Analyst with expertise in HQL, knowledge in Big data ecosystem  and worked in data integration projects. The candidate should have strong knowledge of data warehousing concepts and a solid understanding of data management principles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyse data requirements
  • Understand the architecture, prepare the data mapping configuration for integration workflows
  • Responsible for end-to-end testing of data collected from upstream applications
  • Develop and optimize Hive queries (HQL) for data extraction
  • Ensure data quality, consistency, and governance across big data platforms.
  • Design and document technical specifications based on business needs
  • Recommend improvements to process as needed
  • Assist in troubleshooting and resolving data-related issues.
  • Should have completed at least 2 implementation projects on the above-mentioned mandatory skills and should be an independent contributor.
  • The candidate should have been in client facing roles and interacted with customers in requirement gathering workshops.
  • Should have strong written and verbal communication skills, personal drive, flexibility, team player, problem solving, influencing and negotiation skills.
  • Provide functional expertise to bridge the gap between technical teams and business users.
  • Experience working in Agile development environments and following Agile methodologies.
