Job Description: Vuforia Editor Developer

Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled Vuforia Editor Developer with expertise in PTC Vuforia Expert Capture, Vuforia APIs, and PTC ThingWorx Foundation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and maintaining work instructions, integrating Vuforia data with ThingWorx, and developing dashboards to provide insights into procedure execution and performance analytics.

Key Responsibilities

• Create, edit, and maintain PDI work instructions using Vuforia Editor.
• Utilize Vuforia APIs to extract and manage procedure execution data.
• Integrate Vuforia Editor data with the ThingWorx Platform.
• Design and develop ThingWorx Mashups and Dashboards to visualize procedure analytics, user performance, completion rates, and inspection results.
• Develop and maintain data flows between Vuforia and ThingWorx environments.
• Troubleshoot, optimize, and support existing PDI procedures and ThingWorx Mashups.
  
  

Required Skills

• Strong experience with PTC Vuforia Editor.
• Hands-on knowledge of Vuforia APIs, REST APIs, and JSON data handling.
• Experience with ThingWorx Foundation, including Mashups, DataTables, DataShapes, Services, and Widgets.
• Ability to develop and maintain data integrations between Vuforia and ThingWorx platforms.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities

1. To be responsible for providing technical guidance to a team of developers, enhancing their technical capabilities and increasing productivity.
2. To conduct comprehensive code reviews, establish and oversee quality assurance processes, performance optimization , implementation of best practices and coding standards to ensure successful delivery of complex projects.
3. To ensure process compliance in the assigned module| and participate in technical discussions/review as a technical consultant for feasibility study (technical alternatives, best packages, supporting architecture best practices, technical risks, breakdown into components, estimations).
4. To collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, deliverables and accordingly prepare and submit status reports for minimizing exposure & closure of escalations.
