Job Summary
6+ years of hands-on Android development experience with Kotlin and Java.
Strong knowledge of GraphQL, Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes.
Knowledge of Coroutines, RxJava, or Flow for reactive programming.
Familiarity with dependency injection frameworks like Dagger or Hilt.
Experience with Jetpack Compose on a production grade application
Experience with Android architectural components, such as MVVM, MVI, MVP, Clean Architecture, etc.
Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services.
Experience with Git, version control, and CI/CD tools.
Experience with Unit Testing (UT) and Functional Testing (FT) frameworks, such as JUnit, Mockito, or Espresso.
Basic understanding on accessibility , localization.
Solid understanding of mobile UX/UI design principles and Google’s Android design guidelines.
Ensure code quality through thorough unit testing (UT) and functional testing (FT).
Follow best practices for mobile architecture, design patterns, and coding standards.
Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying areas for optimization and efficiency.
Integrate third-party APIs and services seamlessly into Android applications.
Key Responsibilities
2. To conduct comprehensive code reviews, establish and oversee quality assurance processes, performance optimization , implementation of best practices and coding standards to ensure successful delivery of complex projects.
3. To ensure process compliance in the assigned module| and participate in technical discussions/review as a technical consultant for feasibility study (technical alternatives, best packages, supporting architecture best practices, technical risks, breakdown into components, estimations).
4. To collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, deliverables and accordingly prepare and submit status reports for minimizing exposure & closure of escalations.
