Job Summary

Role Overview

We are seeking a mid-level Tosca Automation Engineer with strong experience primarily in Tosca platform administration and SAP test automation (Secondary expectation) . The candidate will be primarily responsible for managing and supporting the Tosca infrastructure and platform for ongoing testing and maintenance activities for SAP S4 automation implementation project using Tricenti Tosca.

Key Responsibilities

1. To be responsible for providing technical guidance to a team of developers, enhancing their technical capabilities and increasing productivity.
2. To conduct comprehensive code reviews, establish and oversee quality assurance processes, performance optimization , implementation of best practices and coding standards to ensure successful delivery of complex projects.
3. To ensure process compliance in the assigned module| and participate in technical discussions/review as a technical consultant for feasibility study (technical alternatives, best packages, supporting architecture best practices, technical risks, breakdown into components, estimations).
4. To collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, deliverables and accordingly prepare and submit status reports for minimizing exposure & closure of escalations.

Skill Requirements

Key Responsibilities -

 

1 - Tosca Platform Management & Administration

 

- Manage and maintain the Tosca Commander environment and related infrastructure.

- Perform user access management, workspace management, and repository maintenance.

- Monitor and ensure system availability, performance, and stability of the Tosca platform.

- Handle upgrades, patching, and environment configurations.

 

 

2 - Infrastructure & Maintenance Support

 

- Act as primary support for Tosca platform-related incidents and service requests.

- Troubleshoot issues related to:

            Tosca server and clients

            Execution agents (DEX Agents)

            SAP connectivity

- Collaborate with infrastructure teams for environment setup, server provisioning, and network dependencies.

- Ensure proper backup, recovery, and disaster management practices.

 

 

3 - Collaboration & Stakeholder Management

 

- Work closely with QA teams, SAP functional consultants, and Stakeholders.

- Provide technical guidance to junior team members.

- Participate in test planning, estimations, reporting, and sprint activities.

- Document solutions, processes, and known issues clearly. Support distributed execution (DEX) and Tosca Server Setup, Configuration and Management.

 

4 - Continuous Improvement

 

- Identify opportunities to optimize automation coverage and execution time.

- Stay updated with new Tosca features, SAP automation capabilities, and upgrades.

Required Skills & Qualifications -

 

1 - Technical Skills

 

- 3–6 years of experience in Tricentis Tosca automation.

- Strong experience with SAP automation (SAP GUI, Fiori preferred) using Tosca (Good to Have) .

- Hands-on experience in:

            Tosca Commander

            Tosca Modules & Testcase design

            API/Service testing (optional but preferred)

- Good understanding of:

            Tosca architecture & components

            Distributed Execution (DEX)

 

2 - Platform & Infrastructure Knowledge

 

- Experience in Tosca administration and environment management.

- Understanding of:

            Windows servers

            Database concepts (SQL Server preferred)

            Basic networking and access control

 

 

3 - Soft Skills

 

- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

- Good communication and stakeholder management.

- Ability to work independently in support and maintenance environments.

- Proactive and ownership-driven mindset.
