Key Responsibilities

SAP PP/DS (Production Planning/Detailed Scheduling):

Job Description: 

• Highly experienced in analytical and process-driven approach to optimize manufacturing scheduling and production planning workflows
• Experience working in Project and Application Support Services in an end-user-facing position, and should be familiar with Incident Management, Change Management and Problem Management along with an understanding of Business priority and criticality

Skills and Experience:

• Proven expertise, at least 6 years' experience in the configuration and maintenance of SAP PP/DS settings, specifically focusing on Planning Boards, Alert Monitors, and Deployment processes within the manufacturing environment.
• Familiar with the Manufacturing processes and comfortable with components of SAP PP such as BOM, Production version, Work Center, Routings, Production Planning Cycle & the concerned dataset.
• Heuristics - Pre-configured, rule-based algorithms used to automate material requirements planning and production sequencing
• Optimizer - Production, Procurement, Storage and Transportation costs, Costs for increasing the production capacity, Delivery penalties
• Planning & Scheduling tools – Visual Workspaces, mathematical algorithm's and automated processes to manage
• Comprehensive understanding of the technical architecture and integration points between PP/DS and SAP IBP, SAP EWM, and SAP MM/SD to ensure seamless data flow and process.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the maintenance of SAP PP/DS settings, ensuring the accuracy of Master Data, PDS (Production Data Structure), and resource capacity planning
• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders, including Procurement, Sales, and Shop Floor Management, to align production schedules with volatile market demands.
• Design, configure, and validate S/4HANA embedded PP/DS solutions & Transformation Activities
• Identify gaps, issues and work around solutions
