Senior Technical Lead

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly technical and experienced fullstack java developer who individual to fill the role of Software Engineer within our Industrial System Analytics (ISA) team. As a Software Engineer you will provide technical leadership and guidance to the development team, driving the design and implementation of cloud analytic solutions using GCP tools and techniques. Key Roles and Responsibilities of Position: Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain robust and scalable full-stack applications. Contribute to both front-end user interfaces and back-end services, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance. Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices and architectural patterns. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features. Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge. Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems. Design and implement database schemas and manage data interactions efficiently using SQL. Implement and manage infrastructure as code using Terraform for cloud resources on GCP. Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines, utilizing tools like GitHub Actions, Tekton to automate software delivery processes. Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and apply them to improve our software products.

Key Responsibilities

1. To be responsible for providing technical guidance to a team of developers, enhancing their technical capabilities and increasing productivity.
2. To conduct comprehensive code reviews, establish and oversee quality assurance processes, performance optimization , implementation of best practices and coding standards to ensure successful delivery of complex projects.
3. To ensure process compliance in the assigned module| and participate in technical discussions/review as a technical consultant for feasibility study (technical alternatives, best packages, supporting architecture best practices, technical risks, breakdown into components, estimations).
4. To collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, deliverables and accordingly prepare and submit status reports for minimizing exposure & closure of escalations.

Compensation and Benefits

A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies. In addition, this role is eligible for the following benefits subject to company policies: medical, dental, vision, pharmacy, life, accidental death & dismemberment, and disability insurance; employee assistance program; 401(k) retirement plan; 10 days of paid time off per year (some positions are eligible for need-based leave with no designated number of leave days per year); and 10 paid holidays per year.
