Job Summary

Role Summary

Responsible for planning, executing, validating, and supporting the migration of SmartBear Collaborator to Microsoft Azure using a lift-and-shift migration approach based on database export/import, content-cache migration, and configuration restoration. The role involves Azure infrastructure provisioning, Collaborator deployment, database migration, IAM/SSO integration, SCM integration validation, migration rehearsals, production cutover, and post-migration stabilization while ensuring minimal downtime, audit integrity, security compliance, and operational continuity.

Key Responsibilities Migration Planning & Assessment Assess existing SmartBear Collaborator architecture and dependencies Analyze current: Database setup Storage architecture SCM integrations Authentication mechanisms Network dependencies Prepare migration strategy, rollback plan, and downtime approach Identify Azure sizing and capacity requirements Azure Infrastructure Setup Provision and Configure Azure Components Azure Virtual Machines Azure Virtual Network (VNet) Network Security Groups (NSG) Azure Load Balancer / Application Gateway Azure Managed Disks Azure DNS Azure Backup Azure Monitor Environment Configuration Configure: Private networking Firewall rules Storage mounting Backup policies Monitoring and alerts Ensure connectivity with: SCM repositories LDAP/AD SMTP gateways CI/CD systems SmartBear Collaborator Installation & Configuration Install and Configure SmartBear Collaborator Server Java/OpenJDK 11 Database engine/client Docker (if required) Configure Collaborator HTTPS/SSL SMTP JVM tuning Templates Review workflows Checklists Review policies Content storage path
