To be responsible for managing technology in complex projects ,providing technical guidance and ensuring successful delivery of solutions.

Key Responsibilities

1. To be responsible for providing technical guidance to a team of developers, enhancing their technical capabilities and increasing productivity.
2. To conduct comprehensive code reviews, establish and oversee quality assurance processes, performance optimization , implementation of best practices and coding standards to ensure successful delivery of complex projects.
3. To ensure process compliance in the assigned module| and participate in technical discussions/review as a technical consultant for feasibility study (technical alternatives, best packages, supporting architecture best practices, technical risks, breakdown into components, estimations).
4. To collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, deliverables and accordingly prepare and submit status reports for minimizing exposure & closure of escalations.

Skill Requirements

Core Tool-Specific Mastery

• Component Navigation: Proficiency in Informatica's suite (Designer, Workflow Manager, Workflow Monitor, Repository Manager) or DataStage mechanics (Parallel canvas, server jobs, sequence jobs).
• Transformation Logic: Mastery of active/passive transformations in Informatica (Router, Expression, Lookup, Aggregator) or Stage types in DataStage (Transformer, Lookup, Merge, Join, Filter).
• Performance Tuning: Optimizing ETL pipelines via cache management, session properties, memory allocation, and partitioning strategies.
• Error Handling: Diagnosing execution failures by analyzing tool-specific session logs, workflow logs, and rejection tables.
• Database & SQL Proficiency

• Advanced SQL: Mastery of complex joins, window functions, subqueries, and analytical queries to inspect source systems and validate loaded targets.
• Procedural SQL: Writing stored procedures, functions, triggers, and packages using dialects like Oracle PL/SQL or Microsoft T-SQL.
• Query Optimization: Designing database indexes, understanding execution plans, and applying database hints to ensure fast source extraction and target loading.
