Job Summary

We are looking for a Techno-Functional Specialist to support and enhance Hitachi’s Service Suite (Field Service Management application), which is integrated with Outage Management systems, among other key applications.The role involves business requirement analysis and working on a rule-based low-code platform (Service Suite Compose application) to enhance functionalities such as workflows and rule-based validations. It also includes managing system administration and configurations.This role provides strong exposure to the Power & Utility domain, covering end-to-end field service workflows such as outage management, disconnections/reconnections, and field service operations.The candidate will gradually evolve into a Subject Matter Expert (SME), owning both the functional and technical aspects of the platform.

Key Responsibilities

Administer and support FMS / Hitachi Service Suite in the production environment· Act as an SME for Service Suite (technical + functional) and troubleshoot critical production issues and support tickets· Perform root cause analysis and implement preventive measures· Perform business analysis activities, including requirement gathering, stakeholder discussions, and preparation of functional specification documents (FSDs) for new enhancements· Define scope of work, solution approach, and impact analysis for system changes within Service Suite and overall utility workflow· Translate business requirements into system rules and configurations· Develop and maintain validation rules, business logic, and UI behavior using Service Suite’s Compose application· Facilitate requirement walkthroughs and knowledge transfer sessions· Perform application and basic database-level troubleshooting· Prepare and review functional specifications and test cases· Support , Monitor and assess the impact of software releases, patches, and upgrades· Conduct testing, defect identification, and resolution support· Support monthly Unix/Linux database patching activities· Run SQL queries for troubleshooting and issue analysis· Train and mentor team members
