JDE WHSE / Warehouse, Labels & Ship Confirm
Role Summary
The Senior Developer - JDE WHSE / Warehouse & Custom Applications will be responsible for developing and supporting JDE warehouse, labeling, palletization, document, and ship confirm-related custom applications. This role will focus on palletization logic, item preference calls during order creation, DSE F47 table creation, label development, shipping documents, Future3 field mapping to JDE, manual order applications, and automated ship confirm processing.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and support the Palletization custom application.
- Develop item preference calls during order creation for 850, 860, 862, 856
- Build and support item preference logic used to create DSE F47 tables by Bill To and Ship To.
- Develop and support customer-specific shipping documents, including Honda Master Pack, Std shipping documents, Ford / other custom shipping docs along with developing, enhancing, and reworking labels
- Map Future3 fields to new locations in JDE for Labels, SO entry, EDI Inbound and Outbound changes
- Evaluate and develop a custom application for manual orders once business requirements are finalized.
- Automate the ship confirm process with DSE.
- Support testing of the existing ship confirm automation solution.
- Integrate ship confirm automation with cumulative accounting and 856 ASN processing.
- Partner with EDI, warehouse, shipping, and business teams to validate end-to-end order-to-ship flow.
- Support development testing, system integration testing, user acceptance testing, and deployment activities.
Required Skills
- Strong JD Edwards EnterpriseOne development experience with warehouse, shipping, and distribution modules.
- Experience building custom JDE applications, reports, business functions, and table updates.
- Strong knowledge of EDI/DSE F47 tables, end-to-end transaction processing, ship confirm, ASN, cumulative accounting, and warehouse execution processes
- Experience with item preferences, advanced preferences, sales order creation, and shipment processing.
- Experience with label development, shipping documents, and customer-specific document outputs.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex data flow issues across order creation, warehouse processing, shipping, and EDI outputs.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with automotive warehouse and shipping processes.
- Experience with RFSmart, barcode labeling, LPN, palletization, and warehouse automation.
- Experience supporting Honda, Ford, or other OEM documentation and labeling requirements.
Ability to work with incomplete business requirements and convert them into structured technical design.

2. To conduct comprehensive code reviews, establish and oversee quality assurance processes, performance optimization , implementation of best practices and coding standards to ensure successful delivery of complex projects.
3. To ensure process compliance in the assigned module| and participate in technical discussions/review as a technical consultant for feasibility study (technical alternatives, best packages, supporting architecture best practices, technical risks, breakdown into components, estimations).
4. To collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, deliverables and accordingly prepare and submit status reports for minimizing exposure & closure of escalations.
