JDE TMS / Order, Master Data & Shipping Readiness

Role Summary

The Senior Developer - JDE TMS / Order, Master Data & Shipping Readiness will be responsible for supporting JDE configuration, data setup, order processing, transportation/shipping readiness, and customer-specific master data requirements. This role will focus on engineering revision handling, item and customer setup, order dating, DSE (Demand Scheduling Execution) setup, SAP IBP testing support, cutover readiness, shipping documents, labels, hardware setup, and business process validation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Finalize technical and data solutions for engineering revisions, starting with Honda-specific requirements.
  • Configure UOM category code requirements, item branch commitment preferences, DSE setup based on the agreed solution design.
  • Support returnable special container setup, including data and location setup in JDE along with Automotive parts setup, JDE integration to SAP IBP testing to validate forecast impact based on the finalized solution.
  • Develop, update, and test custom order dating applications along with manual order customer setup and pick-to-ship design, label & shipping document testing and validation.
  • Support item cross-reference cleanup between Future3(Auto Release) and JDE, Item/Customer Remarks setup once the final JDE data location is confirmed, UOM data conversion activities.
  • Assist with order cutover decisions, including open and closed order treatment and required data migration.
  • Assist with LPN label changes for carrier and reprint functionality, including design and testing.
  • Provide support for setup of Label printers, Scanners, Default Printer records
  • Configure advanced preferences based on the approved solution design and address book relationships between Bill To and Ship To customers.

Required Skills

  • Strong JD Edwards EnterpriseOne experience in distribution, transportation, order management, and shipping processes.
  • Experience with JDE Sales Order Management, Inventory, Shipping, Transportation, and Advanced Preferences.
  • Strong understanding of customer/item master data, item branch, UOM, cross-references, and address book relationships.
  • Experience supporting order cutover, master data conversion, and system readiness activities.
  • Knowledge of labeling, LPN processing, printer setup, scanning, and shipping documents.
  • Ability to work with functional teams to translate business decisions into JDE setup and development tasks.
  • Strong testing, issue resolution, and documentation skills.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Automotive customer processes such as Honda, Ford, or similar OEM requirements.
  • Experience with JDE to SAP IBP integration or forecast impact validation.
  • Knowledge of cumulative accounting and demand schedule processing.
  • Experience supporting business unit-level warehouse/shipping hardware readiness.

Key Responsibilities

1. To be responsible for providing technical guidance to a team of developers, enhancing their technical capabilities and increasing productivity.
2. To conduct comprehensive code reviews, establish and oversee quality assurance processes, performance optimization , implementation of best practices and coding standards to ensure successful delivery of complex projects.
3. To ensure process compliance in the assigned module| and participate in technical discussions/review as a technical consultant for feasibility study (technical alternatives, best packages, supporting architecture best practices, technical risks, breakdown into components, estimations).
4. To collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, deliverables and accordingly prepare and submit status reports for minimizing exposure & closure of escalations.
