Key Responsibilities

We are seeking a JDE Developer to design, develop, and maintain applications within the Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne (JDE) ERP environment. The ideal candidate will have a background in JDE development best practices, ensuring high-quality, scalable, and maintainable solutions. The current customer environment is JDE V7.3 on AS400. Mandatory requirement: US Citizenship, No dual citizenship, work to be performed based within the USA. In his/her main activities, the JDE developer will be asked the following: KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Application Development and Level 2 and Level 3 support: Design, develop and maintain JDE ERP applications, implement enhancements to existing JDE ERP applications (JDE V7.3 onwards) • Customize and optimize the JDE solutions. • Establish and enforce development best practices, ensure ensuring high-quality, scalable and maintainable solutions, including code reviews, unit testing, and documentation. • Ensure Compliance with IT SOX Audit processes, own responsibility of preparing on time and with quality the regular SOX controls for JDE in accordance with the deadlines stipulated in the SOX control calendar. • Collaborate closely with functional consultants, business users and IT Vendors to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications as well as to ensure timely completion of all inter-dependent activities. • Level 2 / Level 3 application support: Respond to and resolve tickets, service requests and incidents in a timely manner within the prescribed SLAs by troubleshooting, identifying, analyzing and resolving technical issues. Provide day-to-day technical production support for the JD Edwards ERP applications. • Manage External Interfaces: Develop and maintain integrations with third-party systems and applications .e.g. Microstrategy, PowerBI, etc. • Provide guidance and mentorship to other team members, promoting knowledge sharing, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement. • Undertake knowledge transfer for support and maintenance of existing JDE ERP applications and document Runbooks and standard operating procedure documents. • Promote Continuous Improvement: Stay up to date with the latest JDE technologies and recommend improvements to existing processes and systems. QUALIFICATIONS • US Citizenship, No dual citizenship, work to be performed based within the USA • 7+ years’ experience in support and development of JDE ERP applications • Expertise in JDE V7.3 on AS400 • Knowledge of JDE database structures and the usage of the underlying tables and data by applications. • Proficiency in JDE development tools (RDA, FDA, C programming), BI Publisher, and JDE Orchestrator, C, C++ & SQL • Understanding of basic flow of common ERP processes such as Sales order process, Work order process, Shipping process, Purchase order process, activating / deactivating users, etc. • Familiarity with SOX / IT Compliance / IT Audit processes. • Experience in working in multicultural and geographically distributed cross-functional teams. • Comfortable in multicultural environments, being able to get along with team members and stakeholders of different cultures, origins and lifestyles • Strong understanding of software development best practices, including version control, code reviews, and automated testing • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills • Ability to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to understand requirements and provide solution • Reliable and responsible

Compensation and Benefits

A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies.
