- Configure role-based access control, permissions, stream-level controls, certificates, and secure authentication mechanisms.
- Ensure compliance with enterprise security and access governance standards.
4. Coverity Data Migration & Validation
- Execute Coverity backup and restore migration process while preserving projects, streams, defect history, triage data, ownership mappings, comments, and reporting metadata.
- Validate data integrity by comparing defect counts, triage states, stream mappings, dashboards, and reports between source and target systems.
- Perform database optimization, validation, and post-restore verification activities.
5. CI/CD & External Tool Integration Enablement
- Reconfigure and validate Jenkins, Azure DevOps, and GitLab pipelines using cov-build, cov-analyze, and cov-commit-defects.
- Re-establish integrations with JIRA, IDE plugins, SCM webhooks, SMTP, and other connected systems.
- Validate end-to-end workflow continuity after migration.
6. Testing, Production Cutover & Stabilization
- Execute pilot migration, dry runs, functional, integration, performance, UAT, and migration validation testing.
- Perform production migration and final cutover activities including DNS switching and CI/CD pipeline re-pointing.
- Provide post-migration stabilization, troubleshooting, tuning, monitoring, documentation, and user support.
