Job Summary

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Power BI Developer with 5+ years of experience in designing, developing, and maintaining business intelligence solutions. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Power BI, DAX, Power Query, data modeling, SQL, and dashboard development. The role involves working closely with business stakeholders to transform data into actionable insights and support strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

 

Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports.Create and optimize data models using Power BI and Power Query.Develop DAX calculations, measures, KPIs, and complex business logic.Gather reporting requirements from business stakeholders and translate them into technical solutions.Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) from multiple data sources.Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and report performance optimization.Implement row-level security (RLS) and governance standards.Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Business Analysts, Data Engineers, and Project Managers.Support report deployment, maintenance, and troubleshooting.Provide insights and recommendations based on business data analysis.

Skill Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Business Intelligence and Reporting.
  • Strong expertise in:
    • Power BI
    • DAX
    • Power Query
    • Data Modeling
    • SQL Server
  • Experience in creating dashboards, scorecards, and executive reports.
  • Understanding of data warehousing concepts and dimensional modeling.
  • Knowledge of SSRS, SSIS, and SSAS.
  • Experience with Azure data services (ADF, Azure SQL, Synapse) is preferred.
  • Proficiency in report performance tuning and optimization.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Good to Have

  • Experience with Python or R for analytics.
  • Knowledge of Power Apps and Power Automate.
  • Exposure to DevOps / CI-CD practices.
  • Experience working with BFSI, Insurance, or Financial Services domains.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, or related field.
  • Microsoft Power BI Certification is preferred.
