Job Summary

Objective: Identify priority skills for an expert MAPICS / Infor XA 9.1 manufacturing consultant, emphasizing Engineer-to-Order (ETO) environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manufacturing experience outside ETO environments: CTO/MTS/MTO
  • Repetitive manufacturing and lean production expertise.
  • System-Link, EDI, MES, WMS, and third-party integration experience.
  • SQL reporting, dashboards, and Manufacturing Performance Analysis (MPA).
  • Multi-site and global manufacturing deployment experience.
  • Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Value Stream Mapping, and Continuous Improvement programs.

Skill Requirements

Must-Have Skills

  • Engineer-to-Order (ETO) manufacturing expertise including project-based planning, complex BOMs, engineering change management, and custom product manufacturing.
  • Infor XA 9.1 functional expertise: Product Data Management (PDM), BOMs, Routings, MRP, MPS, CRP, Production Monitoring and Control, and Production Control and Costing.
  • Manufacturing Execution Systems implementation and integration experience
  • Planning and scheduling including material planning, capacity planning, shop floor control, and demand management.
  • Inventory Management, Purchasing, Procurement, and Supply Chain execution within XA.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing costing, standard costing, WIP, and financial integration.
  • Requirements gathering, process mapping, solution design, gap-fit analysis, testing, training, and go-live support.
  • Experience leading full-cycle XA implementations and manufacturing transformation projects.
  • IBM i (AS/400) and DB2 knowledge for troubleshooting, reporting, and data analysis.
  • Executive stakeholder management and ERP roadmap/integrations development.
  • For US-based resources, ability to travel to Eaton’s North America plants every 2 weeks
