Job Summary
Position Summary
HCLTech is seeking an experienced SAP BI Lead with 6–8 years of SAP implementation experience to lead enterprise reporting, analytics, data modeling, and business intelligence initiatives for SAP S/4HANA Greenfield and Brownfield transformation programs within the steel manufacturing industry.
Key Responsibilities
Lead SAP BI/BW solution design, development, deployment, and support activities. Drive reporting and analytics strategy across SAP S/4HANA landscapes. Lead business requirement workshops and convert requirements into BI solutions. Design and develop BW data models, extractors, transformations, queries, dashboards, and KPIs. Manage data integration from SAP and non-SAP sources. Lead testing, cutover, training, hypercare, and production support activities. Mentor team members and manage stakeholder communications.
Steel Industry Responsibilities
Design analytics solutions for procurement, inventory, production planning, quality management, maintenance, sales, logistics, finance, and supply chain processes. Develop dashboards for production efficiency, yield management, inventory optimization, procurement performance, and operational excellence across steel manufacturing plants.
Technical Skills
SAP BW/4HANA, SAP BW on HANA, SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), SAP BusinessObjects, SAP S/4HANA Embedded Analytics, CDS Views, SAP HANA Modeling, ABAP basics, Data Extraction, Data Warehousing, SQL, KPI Design, Reporting and Dashboard Development.
Greenfield & Brownfield Experience
Experience supporting Greenfield implementations, Brownfield conversions, rollout programs, data migration validation, reporting harmonization, fit-gap workshops, testing cycles, and go-live support for SAP S/4HANA environments.
Experience Requirements
6–8 years of SAP BI/BW experience with at least two end-to-end SAP implementation projects. Experience with SAP S/4HANA reporting and analytics solutions. Exposure to manufacturing or steel industry business processes is preferred.
Education & Certifications
Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Statistics, or related discipline. SAP BW/4HANA, SAP Analytics Cloud, or SAP S/4HANA certifications preferred.
