Define and own the overall FSC data strategy, roadmap, and implementation approach across Customer, Prospect, Household, Relationship, Financial Account, Holdings, Insurance Policy, Activities, and Notes data domains.
Lead data discovery and assessment activities across Custom Application and all upstream/downstream source systems to establish the target-state FSC data architecture and Customer 360 vision.
Determine the optimal system-of-record strategy, defining what data should be mastered, maintained, and governed within Salesforce FSC versus retained and sourced from external enterprise systems.
Develop the enterprise data migration strategy including migration sequencing, loading approach, conversion waves, reconciliation framework, rollback considerations, and cutover planning.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze source-system landscapes and define data ingestion, synchronization, retention, and archival strategies across multiple integrated platforms and feeds.
Establish data volumetrics and sizing assumptions including record counts, historical data requirements, ingestion volumes, growth projections, storage considerations, and integration throughput requirements.
Define the target-state FSC data model, data relationships, household structures, client hierarchies, ownership models, and security visibility considerations supporting advisor and agency operating models.
Lead data mapping workshops with business and technical stakeholders to establish source-to-target mappings, field transformation rules, reference data standards, and business ownership models.
Design the overall migration validation and reconciliation framework, including migration success criteria, completeness checks, balancing controls, exception management, and post-load verification processes.
Drive data readiness planning by identifying data risks, gaps, dependencies, and quality considerations that may impact migration, reporting, adoption, or operational readiness.
Establish data governance recommendations including ownership models, stewardship responsibilities, master data considerations, duplicate management strategy, and ongoing data management processes.
Define integration data contracts and synchronization requirements for all inbound and outbound feeds supporting FSC, ensuring consistency across customer, prospect, holdings, policy, and operational data domains.
Lead migration testing strategy including mock conversions, data validation cycles, user validation support, defect remediation planning, and production cutover readiness assessments.
Partner with Business, Architecture, Integration, Security, and OCM teams to ensure the target-state data strategy supports business processes, reporting requirements, regulatory obligations, advisor experience, and future scalability objectives.
Provide executive-level guidance and recommendations on data risks, migration readiness, historical data scope, source-system dependencies, and data-related decisions required to support successful pilot deployment and future enterprise expansion.
Skill Requirements
7+ years leading enterprise-scale CRM, FSC, Wealth Management, Insurance, or Customer 360 data programs.
Expertise in Salesforce Financial Services Cloud (FSC) data architecture and data model.
Experience leading complex migrations from platforms such as Custom Applications, CRM, Wealth Management, Insurance Administration, Client Management, and Advisor platforms.
Strong understanding of Customer, Household, Relationship, Financial Account, Holdings, Insurance Policy, Activity, and Interaction data domains.
Proven experience establishing migration volumetrics, reconciliation frameworks, data governance models, and enterprise data operating models.
Ability to engage effectively with business executives, operations teams, data owners, architects, and engineering teams to drive critical data decisions.
