With in-depth knowledge on Network Administration

Demonstrated knowledge of Active Directory, SSO, GPO, DNS, PKI

Understands concepts of Authentication, Authorization, Provisioning, Identity and Access Management.

Knowledgeable in Kubernetes, Containers, Jenkins

Knowledgeable in automated deployment, such as Ansible, Terraform

Has development background using PowerShell, Python, C#

Knowledgeable in security and compliance.

With fundamental working experience with Azure and the services it offers

 

Skills critical to job success

Strong customer-orientation and good oral and written communications skills

Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving and decision making

Strong collaboration skills to manage team, tribes, squads, engineers, and senior stakeholders

Ability to manage multiple work queues or requests from the tribes and squads

Conversant on agile software development

Able to implement configuration management tools

Preferred with at least Azure Fundamentals certification

 

Years of Relevant Work Experience (State if management experience is required)

 

Minimum of 5 years related experience on IT projects and maintenance, including DevOps and IT Infrastructure projects

At least 3 years’ experience on CI/CD administration with related tools on Azure DevOps, GitLab or similar technologies including artifact management tools – Artifactory, Docker, on Cloud Engineering, Network administration with related tools on Azure

Conversant on programming languages such as Python, Java, etc.

Experience in agile software development environment is an advantage

Key Responsibilities

Accountabilities:

 

1. Orchestrate strategies for infrastructure provisioning and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with the use of tools and technologies to ensure team efficiency and effectiveness

 

2. Provide support and institute governance across all tribes and squads on the standardization, automation of frameworks, scripts used in the development and testing of the development infrastructure.

 

3. Lead the troubleshooting and resolution of DevSecOps risks and issues across tribes and squads

 

4. Work closely with Architecture team in developing strategies to create and improve Engineering standards and processes including implementation of relevant or emerging DevSecOps toolsets and technologies.

 

5. Direct and support design and improvements on the development environment

 

6. Responsible for the professional development of DevSecOps squad by developing learning pathways on CI/CD management

 

7. Compliance

 

Ensure that all company policies, procedures, programs, and instruction are carried out.

Be familiar and understand Pru Life UK Compliance Standards. Must be fully aware of his/her responsibilities and competent to carry them out to the required standards. Must report all compliance matters openly and honestly to their Compliance Officer in accordance with the reporting requirements operated by the Compliance Officer. Must operate a process within his/her department to ensure that all relevant compliance matters are identified and reported.
