Job Summary

Position Summary

We are seeking a hands-on Cloud Engineer with strong experience in Microsoft Azure, IoT architecture, real-time data platforms, and cloud data engineering. The candidate should be capable of both designing cloud solutions and executing the implementation, from architecture through production deployment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement scalable Azure cloud and IoT architectures.
  • Build real-time and event-driven data pipelines using Azure Event Hubs, Event Grid, Azure Data Explorer (ADX), Databricks, and ADLS Gen2.
  • Design IoT data flows using MQTT, APIs, streaming telemetry, and event-driven messaging.
  • Build and optimize ADX/KQL and Databricks/Python/PySpark/SQL solutions.
  • Support both real-time and historical/batch analytics architectures.
  • Implement secure Azure connectivity using VNets, Private Endpoints, RBAC, Managed Identities, and Service Principals.
  • Deploy cloud applications using Docker, with AKS or Azure Container Apps experience preferred.
  • Troubleshoot performance, connectivity, data latency, and production issues.
  • Implement CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code using Azure DevOps, Terraform, Bicep, or similar tools.
  • Work closely with IoT, data engineering, analytics, application, and infrastructure teams.

Required Experience

  • Strong hands-on Microsoft Azure engineering experience.
  • Experience with Event Hubs, Event Grid, ADX, Databricks, and ADLS Gen2.
  • Experience designing and implementing IoT or connected-device architectures.
  • Knowledge of MQTT and real-time/streaming data architectures.
  • Strong skills in Python, SQL, PySpark, and/or KQL.
  • Understanding of Azure networking, security, and identity.
  • Experience with Docker, CI/CD, and Infrastructure as Code.
  • Ability to take a solution through the full lifecycle:

Requirements → Architecture → Design → Build → Deploy → Production Support

Preferred

Experience with connected vehicles, telematics, industrial IoT, high-volume telemetry, time-series data, AKS, Azure Container Apps, and Power BI.

Most importantly, we are looking for a hands-on engineer who can both design the architecture and personally build and deploy the solution.
