Job Titles: Dangerous Goods Compliance & Logistics SpecialistLocation: Taiwan (On site 3x days per week)Required QualificationsMinimum 4–5 years of experience in Dangerous Goods compliance, with a focus on product classification and Dangerous Goods Transportation.Current certification in IATA DGR (Air) and IMDG (Sea); functional knowledge of 49 CFR and ADR.Demonstrated experience conducting remote DG Compliance audits, and tracking corrective action plans to closureExperience administering DG training and maintain training records recordsDemonstrated competence in Dangerous Goods ClassificationAdvanced proficiency in spreadsheet logic (Macros, VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables)Familiarity using AI tools (Gemini) to build simple automation agents.Proven ability to manage large datasets for NPIProven experience managing logistics for NPI (New Product Introduction) phases, origin operations and contract manufacturers (CMs)Experience managing global freight carriers against key performance metrics (On-Time Delivery, Operational Efficiency & Service & Delivery Performance)Exception Management: Proactive identification of transit delays and the ability to execute contingency plansNetwork optimization and the ability to design end-to-end routing that balances Lead Time, cost, risks assessment and scalabilityExcellent written and verbal communication skills, (English & Mandarin) with the ability to interact professionally with internal Google teams and external partners (logistics providers, suppliers).Proven ability to work with a high degree of urgency and meticulous attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.Proven ability to develop, document, and standardize complex operational workflows (SOPs).Must be proficient in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Email, Chat, Drive).Strong sense of responsibility and security awareness when handling confidential and high-value materials.Core ResponsibilitiesNPI & Sustaining Data Enrichment: Classify and enrich DG attributes (UN Number, PSN, Class, PG, Watt-hours) for Finished Goods, Spare Parts, and components.Pre-Prod Part Number Creation & Classification: Create, Classify and enrich DG attributes (UN Number, PSN, Class, PG, Watt-hours) for pre-production Part NumbersCompliance Documentation Management: Proactively contact suppliers to obtain and verify MSDS and UN38.3 Test Summaries for all battery SKUs.System Logic Configuration: Configure and maintain “DG Logic" and "Packaging Instructions" to ensure internal shipping tools select the correct DG reference materials.Automation & Efficiency: Identify one manual workflow per month (e.g., data entry) and implement a solution (macro, script, or AI agent) to automate it.Logistics Logic: Configure systems rules to map products in compliance with DG regulations.Provide SME support for Origin & gShipping lanesCM management, including on-boarding training and SOP creationException / escalation management for pre-production shipments globallyAPAC carrier management, including routine operational / service reviews and performance and SLA strategyRemote Auditing: Conduct remote DG audits of internal & external partners, specifically verifying adherence to SOPs, and tracking Corrective Action Plans (CAPA) to closure.DG Training Administration: Maintain the "Single Source of Truth" for FTE and TVC training records; assign training upon expiry and track completion.SOP Governance: Design, author, and govern Dangerous Goods Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for internal teams and external logistics partners.Packaging Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels of DG packaging at distribution centers and trigger re-stocking orders to prevent stock-outs.Compliance Automation: Develop and deploy automated solutions (e.g., macros, scripts, AI Agent) to detect non-compliance (e.g., duplicate image uploads) or improve operational efficiency.Measurable SLAs (Key Performance Indicators)NPI Readiness: 100% of NPI SKUs enriched & verified 5 business days prior to "Ok2S
