Job Summary

Job Title: Front-End Technical Lead – Onsite (React.js & Node.js)

Role Overview
We are seeking a hands-on Front-End Technical Lead to work onsite with the client and lead the delivery of web applications using React.js and Node.js. The role requires strong technical expertise, team leadership, and direct collaboration with business stakeholders and distributed development teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own front-end technical delivery, from requirement clarification and solution design through development, testing, and release.

  • Develop responsive, accessible web applications using React.js, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.

  • Build and maintain Node.js services and Backend-for-Frontend (BFF) integrations.

  • Define component architecture, reusable UI patterns, state management, and coding standards.

  • Lead developers, review code, mentor team members, and resolve technical blockers.

  • Collaborate onsite with client stakeholders, product owners, UX designers, backend teams, and QA.

  • Coordinate with offshore teams on estimates, sprint commitments, dependencies, and delivery progress.

  • Improve application performance, security, automated testing, and production reliability.

  • Support releases and troubleshoot production issues.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Strong hands-on experience with React.js and Node.js.

  • Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, React Hooks, routing, and state management using Redux, Context API, or equivalent.

  • Experience developing Node.js APIs using Express.js or similar frameworks.

  • Strong understanding of REST APIs, authentication, authorization, and API integration.

  • Experience with responsive design, browser compatibility, and web accessibility.

  • Experience with unit and integration testing using Jest, React Testing Library, or equivalent.

  • Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile delivery.

  • Proven technical leadership and strong client-facing communication skills.

  • Experience coordinating onsite and offshore development teams.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Next.js, server-side rendering, and micro-frontends.

  • Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform, Docker, and Kubernetes.

  • Experience with ecommerce applications and customer-facing digital journeys.

Suggested Experience: 8+ years in software development, including 2+ years in a technical lead role.
Work Location: Onsite at the client location.
