Senior Technical Lead

Job Summary

Looking for a hybrid SAP Basis and BTP engineer to run our SAP landscape and support our cloud analytics and process platforms. You will bridge traditional Basis operations with modern SAP SaaS administration, integration, and governance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer SAP Basis environments (installation, version upgrades, system copies, patching, kernel upgrades, transports, performance tuning)
  • Manage SAP BTP subaccounts, entitlements, role collections, and connectivity (Cloud Connector, Destinations)
  • Administer SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC): tenant configuration, user and role management, live and import connections
  • Support SAP Business Data Cloud (BDC): data product setup, access governance, and integration with source systems
  • Administer SAP Datasphere: spaces, connections, data flows, replication, and monitoring
  • Support SAP Signavio: process model governance, user provisioning, and workspace setup
  • Configure SSO and identity integration (SAP Cloud Identity Services, Azure AD/Entra ID)
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve incidents across on-premise and cloud platforms
  • Maintain security, compliance, and audit controls, including GxP or SOX where applicable
  • Document runbooks and collaborate with functional, data, and security teams

Skill Requirements

  • 8 - 10 years of SAP Basis experience (S/4HANA, HANA DB, Solution Manager or Cloud ALM)
  • 2+ years of hands-on SAP BTP administration
  • Working knowledge of at least two of SAC, Datasphere, BDC, or Signavio
  • Understanding of networking, security, and authentication concepts (OAuth, SAML, certificates)
  • Strong troubleshooting and communication skills
  • SAP certifications (BTP, Datasphere, SAC, or HANA administration)
  • Experience with RISE with SAP or hybrid landscapes
  • Familiarity with CI/CD, Cloud Transport Management, and infrastructure automation
  • Knowledge of the SAP Integration Suite
