Role Overview
AkzoNobel is seeking a skilled Azure Developer to design, develop, and support cloud-native applications, APIs, and integrations on Microsoft Azure. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Azure PaaS services, .NET development, REST APIs, microservices, and DevOps practices.
The role involves working closely with architects, business analysts, and product teams to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing digital solutions that support AkzoNobel's web and enterprise platforms.

Application Development
Design and develop cloud-native applications using Microsoft Azure.
Build and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices.
Develop backend services using C# and .NET Core.
Implement reusable, scalable, and secure application components.
Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to development standards.

API & Integration Development
Create and consume REST APIs.
Implement API security using OAuth 2.0 and Azure AD.
Support event-driven and asynchronous integration patterns.
Collaborate with frontend and mobile development teams.
DevOps & Automation
Contribute to CI/CD pipeline development using Azure DevOps.
Support Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) implementations.
Participate in deployment automation and environment management.
