Job Summary

To be responsible for managing technology in complex projects ,providing technical guidance and ensuring successful delivery of solutions.

Key Responsibilities

1. To be responsible for providing technical guidance to a team of developers, enhancing their technical capabilities and increasing productivity.
2. To conduct comprehensive code reviews, establish and oversee quality assurance processes, performance optimization , implementation of best practices and coding standards to ensure successful delivery of complex projects.
3. To ensure process compliance in the assigned module| and participate in technical discussions/review as a technical consultant for feasibility study (technical alternatives, best packages, supporting architecture best practices, technical risks, breakdown into components, estimations).
4. To collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, deliverables and accordingly prepare and submit status reports for minimizing exposure & closure of escalations.

Skill Requirements

MUST HAVE:
- Kubernetes pod lifecycle, Deployments, StatefulSets, Services, ConfigMaps, Secrets
- Docker image layer caching, multi-stage builds, image best practices
- Azure container operations (ACR image management, scanning, tag immutability)
- Pod debugging, log inspection, kubectl commands
- Kubernetes health checks (liveness/readiness probes)
- Service-to-service networking and DNS
- ConfigMap and Secret injection in pods
- Troubleshooting pod crashes and scaling issues
- Helm chart deployment and templating for microservices
- StatefulSet backup and recovery strategies
- Pod affinity and anti-affinity rules
- Network policies and pod-to-pod security
- Kubernetes RBAC
- Custom resource definitions (CRDs)
- Kubernetes admission controllers
- Pod security policies
- Resource requests and limits optimization

Pre-requisites  - Test setup (if any)

Access to AKS clusters (test, staging, production)
kubectl configured with proper kubeconfig files
Access to Fiji microservices repositories (16+ service repos)
Access to Kubernetes API audit logs
Monitoring dashboards for Fiji services (Prometheus, Grafana, Azure Monitor)
Sample Fiji microservice deployment manifests
