Job Summary

POSITION SUMMARY STATEMENT:

The SaaS Developer is responsible for designing, developing, configuring, and integrating cloud‑based SaaS solutions to support scalable and secure business operations. The role focuses on building extensions, integrations, and custom components while adhering to SaaS best practices, release standards, and enterprise security frameworks. The developer works closely with analysts, architects, and business stakeholders to deliver high‑quality, maintainable SaaS solutions

Key Responsibilities

DETAILED RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:

• Design, develop, and implement SaaS extensions, integrations, reports, and custom components using approved platform capabilities and APIs.
• Translate business and functional requirements into technical designs while minimizing customizations and maximizing configuration‑led solutions
• Build and maintain integrations between SaaS applications and boundary systems using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, or PaaS services
• Perform unit testing, support system and user acceptance testing, and resolve defects across development, test, and production environments
• Support SaaS release cycles, including regression analysis, impact assessment, and deployment coordination across environments
• Troubleshoot production issues, perform root‑cause analysis, and deliver permanent fixes within defined SLAs
• Ensure solutions comply with SaaS security, access governance, and audit requirements
• Contribute to automation, performance optimization, and continuous improvement of the SaaS landscape

• Performance Improvement in the Applications environment. Tuning code, Application health check, Application improvement proposals and implementations.
• Follow documentation, software development methodology, version control and testing, and migration standards
• Understand the key integration points, work cross-functionally across different business processes, and understand challenges faced by business teams and address those.
• Meet service level agreements for production support response and resolution. Troubleshoot issues, find their root cause, and any necessary corrective actions to resolve them permanently
• Serve as a mentor to less experienced Application Developers.
• Develop a cooperative environment that fosters knowledge sharing
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
• Experience working both independently and, in a team-oriented, collaborative environment

Skill Requirements

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Skills:

• Strong experience developing on SaaS platforms and/or SaaS‑adjacent PaaS technologies
• Experience with SaaS extensions, custom objects, workflows, reports, and UI frameworks
• Hands‑on experience with REST/SOAP APIs, web services, data integrations, and event‑based architectures
• Familiarity with cloud DevOps practices including source control, branching, CI/CD pipelines, and release management

• Strong understanding of relational databases (including tables, views, indexes, table spaces etc.), including understanding of Entity Relationship Diagrams (ERDs) and the translation of business requirements into them.
• Hands-on software troubleshooting experience and Ability to conduct research into software-related issues and products
• Experience with change management tools and processes, including source code control, versioning, branching, defect tracking and release management.
• Good knowledge and understanding of Oracle and ERP API’s
• In-depth knowledge of Applications code registration procedures
• Good working knowledge in Unix/Linux shell scripting
• Ability to identify system impact for small- and large-scale initiatives
• Experience with global implementations of Oracle EBS Applications and Salesforce, building highly available, scalable, and secure systems.
• Coordinate migrations/implementation of changes between the different Application environments (i.e., Development, Test, and Production).
• Expertise in the Interfaces, conversion and data migration between different Oracle ERP modules, Oracle Cloud, Salesforce and 3rd party applications.

Experience:

• 5+ years of proven experience in designing and building modern enterprise/large-scale applications.
• 5+ years of experience with SQL (advance queries, tuning) and PL/SQL
• 5+ years of experience in Oracle Application Development and Oracle Development Tools (working knowledge of Web Applications)
• 5+ years development experience in an R12 Oracle Applications environment is a must, including knowledge in using Oracle Application Object Library (AOL/FND)
• Good experience with UNIX/Linux shell scripting
• 5+ years of professional IT/Engineering experience required with demonstrated development and design experience (Java, JavaScript, AJAX experience preferred)
• 5+ years’ experience in Force.com, Lightning components development (Aura/LWC), and Apex programming language (Salesforce Administrator, Platform Developer I required, SF Platform Dev II / Marketing Cloud / Service Cloud certification preferred)
• Exposure to Salesforce Community Clouds.
