Job Summary

SAP Inhouse Consultant for Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) to join our India-based SAP Application Management Services team. 

This role focuses on ensuring stable global and local warehouse operations, driving enhancements, and supporting SAP EWM rollout and transformation initiatives within an international SAP S/4HANA environment. The position combines application support, process consulting, SAP EWM customizing, testing, documentation, and rollout execution, working closely with business stakeholders and global IT teams to continuously improve warehouse logistics processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure end-to-end business operations (L3 support) for SAP EWM warehouse processes across inbound, internal, and outbound logistics 
• Analyze, process, and resolve incidents, problems, and service requests within the SAP EWM landscape 
• Configure and customize SAP EWM components based on approved specifications and global standards
• Support warehouse end-to-end warehouse processes from Goods Receipt to Goods Issue, including Inbound, Putaway, Internal Movements, Production Integration, Picking, Packing and Outbound
• Prepare functional and technical specifications and maintain solution, process, configuration, and test documentation 
• Perform root cause analyses and implement sustainable corrective and preventive actions 
• Plan and execute change requests, enhancements, and continuous process improvements 
• Collaborate with ABAP and Fiori development teams for enhancements, bug fixing, interfaces, and technical implementations 
• Support functional, integration, and user acceptance testing activities together with business key users 
• Support go-live and hypercare activities during implementation projects 
• Collaborate closely with global project teams, external partners, and warehouse operations teams

Skill Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field 
• More than 5 years of experience in SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) 
• Proven hands-on experience in SAP EWM Customizing and Application Management Services (AMS) 
• Strong understanding of warehouse management processes covering the complete warehouse lifecycle from Goods Receipt to Goods Issue 
• Experience with SAP EWM integrated with SAP S/4HANA environments 
• Experience in rollout, implementation, upgrade, or transformation projects 
• Hands-on exposure to SAP S/4HANA logistics simplifications and Fiori applications 
• Basic understanding of ABAP, enhancements, interfaces, debugging, and SAP Fiori concepts 
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a structured way of working 
• Excellent English communication and stakeholder management skills
