Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Senior Business Analytics Operations Partner to join our newly formed analytics team. This pivotal role will serve as the primary liaison between our analytics team and key internal partners, including IT and the Experience teams we support. The Senior Business Analytics Operations Partner will manage the intake of analytics requests, facilitate prioritization, gather detailed analytical requirements, and ensure efficient delivery of data-driven solutions. A key responsibility will be to develop and maintain an annual analytics roadmap, depicting team deliverables, and to champion data quality and instrumentation requirements. The ideal candidate will possess strong business analysis skills, excellent communication, a deep understanding of how data quality and instrumentation impact analytics, and experience in digital analytics or a related field.

Key Responsibilities

Analytics Operations & Workflow Management:

Proven experience managing analytics request intake, facilitating prioritization, and coordinating workflows, preferably within an analytics or data-focused team.

Expertise in agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) or similar structured approaches to manage iterative work, team capacity, and ensure efficient delivery of analytics projects.

Ability to manage multiple competing priorities and deadlines effectively, ensuring alignment with team and IT delivery timelines.

Technical Requirements Gathering & Definition:

Demonstrated ability to elicit, document, and refine detailed analytical and technical requirements from IT and Experience partners. This includes understanding business objectives, translating them into analytical needs, and defining technical specifications for data capture, instrumentation, and reporting.

Experience facilitating requirements gathering sessions, workshops, and interviews with technical and product teams.

Internal Partner Liaison & Communication:

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a talent for building strong working relationships across technical teams (IT, Engineering) and Experience/Product teams.

Skilled in managing expectations, providing clear updates on analytics projects and roadmap progress, and collaborating effectively to resolve roadblocks.

Ability to articulate complex technical and analytical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical internal partners.

Data Quality & Instrumentation Expertise:

Demonstrated experience in auditing digital analytics tags (e.g., Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics) and identifying instrumentation gaps.

Ability to define and document precise tagging requirements and data quality standards for new initiatives or improvements.

Understanding of how accurate data capture and instrumentation directly impact analytics outcomes and business insights.

Skill Requirements

 Analytics Roadmap Development: Experience creating and managing analytical roadmaps, outlining team deliverables (dashboards, reports, capabilities), timelines, and dependencies.

 Adobe Analytics Workspace Proficiency: Experience building and customizing Adobe Analytics Workspaces for performance monitoring and insight generation.

·       Agile/Scrum Leadership: Proven experience in a formal Scrum Master role or a strong track record of facilitating agile ceremonies and driving continuous improvement within a technical team.

Basic Understanding of Digital Analytics: Familiarity with general digital analytics principles and how they are used to measure user behavior.

Leveraging AI/ML for Efficiency: Interest in or experience with how AI/ML can be used to automate workflows, enhance data processing, or improve reporting efficiency.

Other Requirements

Develop and Maintain the Analytics Roadmap: Lead the creation, communication, and ongoing management of the team's annual analytics roadmap, detailing planned dashboards, reports, capabilities, and key initiatives, and ensuring alignment with IT delivery timelines.

Manage Analytics Request Intake & Prioritization: Serve as the primary intake point for analytics requests, facilitating the prioritization process in collaboration with IT and Experience partners, aligning requests with the roadmap and team capacity.

3.       Gather Technical & Analytical Requirements from Internal Partners: Elicit, document, and refine detailed technical and analytical requirements from IT and Experience partners, ensuring clarity on instrumentation needs, data capture logic, and desired reporting outputs.

Champion Data Quality & Instrumentation Standards: Integrate data quality and instrumentation requirements into the request intake and design process. Collaborate with IT and Experience teams to define, implement, and validate tagging requirements and data capture logic for new features and ongoing analytics.

5.       Facilitate Internal Partner Collaboration & Communication: Act as the primary liaison between the analytics team and IT/Experience partners. Proactively manage project progress, resolve roadblocks, provide status updates, and ensure seamless collaboration for efficient project delivery.

6.       Streamline Analytics Delivery Workflow: Drive process improvements within the analytics team's workflow to ensure efficient and timely delivery of analytics projects, from intake to final output, in coordination with IT and Experience teams.

Compensation and Benefits

A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies.
