JDE DSE (Demand Scheduling Execution) / EDI & Orchestrations

Role Summary

The Senior Developer - JDE DSE / EDI & Orchestrations will be responsible for designing, developing, enhancing, and supporting JD Edwards EnterpriseOne EDI, DSE, and Orchestrator-based integrations. This role will focus heavily on automating inbound and outbound EDI transactions, improving EDI error handling, supporting customer-specific requirements, and ensuring accurate order, shipment, invoice, and forecast-related data flow across JDE and external systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance JDE Orchestrations to automate EDI transactions 830, 862, 856, 810, 820, 860
• Support broken or incomplete 830/862 orchestration processes and align them with 856 processing.
• Develop and support inbound EDI reports and processes for 820, 824, 832, 861, 864, 997, 853
• Build and maintain outbound orchestrations for 856 and 810 transactions.
• Develop orchestration logic to connect 820, 830, 862, and 860 transactions with 856 processing.
• Design and support advanced EDI maps and error-handling logic.
• Develop business functions to generate JSON output from 856 shipment data.
• Modify JDE logic to record and retain special Future3 fields on 850, 860, 830, and 862 transactions.
• Support order dating logic for 850, 860, 830, and 862 transactions, including date/time updates and order information changes.
• Evaluate, configure, and test standard pack functionality for inbound 830 processing.
• Work with business and functional teams to ensure EDI/DSE processing aligns with customer and business requirements.

Required Skills

• Strong JD Edwards EnterpriseOne technical development experience.
• Hands-on experience with JDE EDI tables, DSE processing, and F47 transaction tables.
• Experience with JDE Orchestrator, AIS, BSSV, business functions, and JSON-based integrations.
• Strong understanding of automotive or manufacturing EDI transactions, especially 830, 862, 856, 810, 850, 860, and 997.
• Experience with EDI inbound/outbound mapping, error handling, and reconciliation.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex transaction failures and data flow issues.
• Strong SQL and JDE table-level debugging skills.
• Experience working with business users, EDI teams, and integration teams.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with automotive customer EDI requirements.
• Knowledge of cumulative accounting, ship schedules, planning schedules, and ASN processing.
• Experience with advanced mapping and exception-based EDI monitoring.
• Ability to work independently on complex orchestration and integration requirements.

Key Responsibilities

1. To be responsible for providing technical guidance to a team of developers, enhancing their technical capabilities and increasing productivity.
2. To conduct comprehensive code reviews, establish and oversee quality assurance processes, performance optimization , implementation of best practices and coding standards to ensure successful delivery of complex projects.
3. To ensure process compliance in the assigned module| and participate in technical discussions/review as a technical consultant for feasibility study (technical alternatives, best packages, supporting architecture best practices, technical risks, breakdown into components, estimations).
4. To collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, deliverables and accordingly prepare and submit status reports for minimizing exposure & closure of escalations.
