Job Summary

Strong Linux system administration experience including package management, user administration, process management, performance monitoring, troubleshooting, patching, and system hardening.
Proficiency in Python, Bash, and Ansible for automation, configuration management, operational support, and process optimization.
Hands-on experience with AWS services including EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, EBS, RDS, CloudWatch, Lambda, ECS/EKS. Strong understanding of cloud-native architectures and AWS best practices.
Experience in Disaster Recovery (DR) planning, testing, and execution. Hands-on experience with EBS snapshots, RDS backups, backup validation, recovery procedures, and DR drills.
Experience performing AMI creation, maintenance, OS patching, security updates, lifecycle management, and upgrade activities across AWS environments.
Experience designing, implementing, and supporting CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and/or GitHub Actions, including automated build, test, deployment, and rollback processes.
Expertise in Terraform and/or AWS CloudFormation for provisioning and managing cloud infrastructure using code and version-controlled deployments.
Experience managing containerized workloads using Docker, ECS, and/or EKS (Kubernetes), including deployments, scaling, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
Strong understanding of AWS networking including VPC, Subnets, Route Tables, Security Groups, NACLs, Load Balancers, NAT Gateways, VPNs, and DNS management using Route 53 and Cloudflare.

Key Responsibilities

1. To be responsible for providing technical guidance to a team of developers, enhancing their technical capabilities and increasing productivity.
2. To conduct comprehensive code reviews, establish and oversee quality assurance processes, performance optimization , implementation of best practices and coding standards to ensure successful delivery of complex projects.
3. To ensure process compliance in the assigned module| and participate in technical discussions/review as a technical consultant for feasibility study (technical alternatives, best packages, supporting architecture best practices, technical risks, breakdown into components, estimations).
4. To collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, deliverables and accordingly prepare and submit status reports for minimizing exposure & closure of escalations.
