Job Description – Intelligent Automation Engineer (UiPath)
Position Summary
We are looking for an experienced Intelligent Automation Engineer with strong expertise in UiPath and enterprise automation to design, develop, enhance, and support business-critical automation solutions. The candidate will be responsible for the complete automation lifecycle, including requirement analysis, solution design, development, testing, deployment, production support, and continuous improvement of automation processes.
The ideal candidate should possess strong problem-solving abilities, experience working with enterprise applications, and the capability to collaborate with business stakeholders to deliver scalable and maintainable automation solutions.
Key Responsibilities
1. Automation Development
- Design, develop, test, and deploy enterprise automation solutions using UiPath.
- Develop unattended automation solutions using REFramework.
- Build modular, reusable, and scalable automation workflows.
- Follow UiPath development best practices and coding standards.
- Perform code optimization and application performance improvements.
2. Solution Design
- Participate in automation feasibility assessments.
- Analyse business processes and identify automation opportunities.
- Recommend appropriate automation approaches including UI automation and API integrations wherever applicable.
- Design scalable queue-based automation solutions for high-volume business processes.
3. UiPath Orchestrator Administration
- Publish and manage automation packages.
- Monitor robot execution and job health.
- Support deployment across Development, UAT, and Production environments.
4. Enterprise Integrations
Develop automations involving integration with enterprise applications including:
- SAP
- Web applications
- Microsoft Outlook
- Excel
- SharePoint
- REST APIs
- File systems
- Network locations
5. Production Support
- Monitor production automations.
- Investigate and resolve production incidents.
- Perform root cause analysis for automation failures.
- Implement permanent fixes for recurring production issues.
- Support business users during critical production incidents.
- Coordinate with infrastructure and application support teams for issue resolution.
