Senior Technical Lead

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and self-driven Data Engineer / DBT Developer to join a global development team supporting multiple geographies. The ideal candidate should be capable of working independently in an Agile environment while collaborating effectively with distributed teams and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, enhance, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT data pipelines using DBT and Azure Data Platform technologies.Design and implement data transformation frameworks, data models, and business logic in DBT.Build and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports to support business analytics and decision-making.Work with Azure Databricks for data processing, transformation, and optimization.Collaborate with global teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.Perform root cause analysis, troubleshoot data issues, and ensure data quality and reliability.Manage code repositories, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment activities using Azure DevOps.Document technical designs, workflows, and operational procedures. Strong hands-on experience with DBT (Data Build Tool).Good understanding of ETL/ELT concepts, data warehousing, and dimensional modeling.Experience with Azure Databricks and Spark-based data processing.Proficiency in Power BI report and dashboard development.Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, Git repositories, and CI/CD pipelines.Strong SQL and data transformation skills.Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery models.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
