Job Summary

As a Cloud-Native Enterprise Content Management (ECM) Engineer – Veladocs Specialist, you will be responsible for developing, supporting, and enhancing cloud-native document management and content services solutions built on the Veladocs platform. You will work on enterprise content repositories, document workflows, synchronization services, search capabilities, API integrations, and cloud-based content lifecycle management solutions. The role requires close collaboration with business stakeholders, application teams, cloud engineers, and infrastructure teams to ensure secure, scalable, and highly available ECM services that support critical business processes.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, configure, and support cloud-native ECM solutions using the Veladocs platform.Design and maintain document management workflows, metadata structures, document repositories, and lifecycle management processes.Support Veladocs Synchronization, Overlay, and Enterprise Search capabilities.Configure and troubleshoot document ingestion, indexing, versioning, retention, and retrieval processes.Develop integrations between Veladocs and enterprise applications using REST APIs and microservices.Collaborate with business teams to gather requirements and implement content management solutions.Monitor application performance, search indexing processes, and document synchronization activities.Troubleshoot production incidents and perform root cause analysis for content management and search-related issues.Support change management, application releases, deployments, and environment migrations.Implement security controls, access management, and compliance requirements for enterprise content repositories.Create and maintain technical documentation, operational runbooks, and knowledge articles.Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Skill Requirements

Enterprise Content Management (ECM)

  • Strong experience with Enterprise Content Management and document management solutions.
  • Hands-on experience with:
    • Veladocs Document Management
    • Veladocs Synchronization Services
    • Veladocs Overlay Services
    • Enterprise Search Platforms
    • Content Lifecycle Management
    • Records Management
  • Experience configuring document metadata, taxonomy, classification, and retention policies.
  • Knowledge of document versioning, audit trails, and content governance practices.

Other Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.3+ years of experience in Enterprise Content Management, Document Management, or Content Services platforms.Experience working with cloud-native enterprise applications and document-centric business processes.Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile, and DevOps methodologies.Experience with ServiceNow, JIRA, and Confluence.Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.Ability to work effectively within global delivery and support teams.Understanding of regulatory compliance, audit requirements, and information governance practices.Experience supporting pharmaceutical, life sciences, manufacturing, or regulated industry applications is preferred.Exposure to AI-powered search, intelligent document processing, metadata automation, or GenAI-enabled content services is an added advantage.
