Job Summary
Role Summary
HCLTech is seeking an experienced SAP PP/QM Lead with 6–8 years of SAP implementation experience in Greenfield and Brownfield S/4HANA programs within the steel manufacturing industry. The role is responsible for leading Production Planning and Quality Management workstreams, driving process optimization, manufacturing excellence, and end-to-end solution delivery.
Key Roles & Responsibilities

Lead SAP PP and QM design, configuration, testing, deployment, and support activities.

Drive Greenfield, Brownfield, Rollout, and SAP S/4HANA transformation initiatives.

Conduct business workshops, requirement gathering, fit-gap analysis, and solution blueprinting.

Configure BOMs, Work Centers, Routings, Production Versions, MRP, Capacity Planning, and Production Orders.
-
Implement Quality Inspection Plans, Quality Notifications, Sampling Procedures, and Quality Certificates.
-
Support steel manufacturing operations including melting, casting, rolling mills, inventory and production scheduling.

Integrate SAP PP/QM with MM, SD, PM, EWM/WM, TM and FICO modules.

Lead SIT, UAT, Cutover, Go-Live and Hypercare activities.

Prepare functional specifications and coordinate with ABAP, Fiori, Basis and Integration teams.

Mentor consultants and manage stakeholder communication.
