Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Azure Big Data Engineer to design, develop, and optimize large-scale data solutions on the Microsoft Azure platform. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in Azure Synapse, Spark/PySpark, Scala, SQL, Scope, Cosmos, and ADLS, with exposure to Microsoft Fabric and Kusto technologies.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop scalable Big Data solutions using Azure Synapse Analytics.Build and optimize distributed data processing pipelines using Spark/PySpark and Scala.Develop complex SQL and Scope scripts for large-scale data transformation and analytics.Work with Cosmos and ADLS to manage enterprise-scale structured and unstructured datasets.Implement ETL/ELT pipelines, data validation, monitoring, and performance tuning.Collaborate with architects, product teams, and business stakeholders to deliver data-driven solutions.Leverage Kusto and Microsoft Fabric for advanced analytics and reporting requirements.

Skill Requirements

  • Strong experience in Azure Data Engineering and Big Data ecosystem.
  • Hands-on expertise in Synapse, Spark/PySpark, Scala, SQL, Scope, Cosmos, and ADLS.
  • Experience with data modeling, ETL frameworks, and performance optimization.
  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps, CI/CD, and Agile delivery methodologies.
  • Good analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Preferred

  • Microsoft Fabric / OneLake experience.
  • Kusto (KQL) development experience.
  • Azure Data Engineer certification (DP-203) preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies.
