Senior Technical Lead

Job Summary

  • Design, develop, test, and support SAP ABAP solutions across SAP ECC and S/4HANA landscapes.
  • Develop and enhance Reports, ALV, Interfaces, Conversions, Forms, and Enhancements (RICEF objects).
  • Build and support BAPIs, RFCs, IDOCs, User Exits, BADIs, Enhancement Framework, and Workflow integrations.
  • Develop and optimize CDS Views, AMDPs, OData Services, and HANA-based ABAP solutions.
  • Perform code reviews, debugging, performance tuning, and defect resolution.
  • Collaborate with functional consultants to analyze business requirements and provide technical solutions.
  • Prepare technical specifications and support SIT, UAT, and go-live activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and support SAP ABAP solutions across SAP ECC and S/4HANA landscapes.
  • Develop and enhance Reports, ALV, Interfaces, Conversions, Forms, and Enhancements (RICEF objects).
  • Build and support BAPIs, RFCs, IDOCs, User Exits, BADIs, Enhancement Framework, and Workflow integrations.
  • Develop and optimize CDS Views, AMDPs, OData Services, and HANA-based ABAP solutions.
  • Perform code reviews, debugging, performance tuning, and defect resolution.
  • Collaborate with functional consultants to analyze business requirements and provide technical solutions.
  • Prepare technical specifications and support SIT, UAT, and go-live activities.

Skill Requirements

  • 7+ years of hands-on SAP ABAP development experience.
  • Strong expertise in Reports, ALV, SmartForms, Adobe Forms, SAP Scripts, Enhancements, BAPIs, RFCs, and IDOCs.
  • Experience with S/4HANA custom code adaptation and ABAP on HANA.
  • Hands-on experience with CDS Views, AMDP, OData Services, and Object-Oriented ABAP.
  • Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization skills.
  • Knowledge of integration technologies and SAP standard enhancement frameworks.

Other Requirements

Preferred Skills

  • Exposure to SAP Fiori/UI5 development.
  • Experience in SAP BTP and RAP development.
  • Experience in at least one SAP S/4HANA implementation or migration project.
  • SAP ABAP certification is an added advantage.
