Job Summary

Seeking a DevOps & Linux Engineer with strong experience in Unix/Linux environments, Shell Scripting, batch process automation, CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and deployment automation. The role will be responsible for analyzing and enhancing existing Unix-based batch processes, automating deployments, integrating tools into DevOps pipelines, and supporting application modernization initiatives

Key Responsibilities

Design, build, and support DevOps pipelines for build, testing, deployment, and release management.
Create and maintain YAML and JSON configuration files to support DevOps and infrastructure automation.
Integrate tools, automation scripts, monitoring solutions, and quality controls into CI/CD pipelines.
Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) scripts for automated environment provisioning and configuration.
Develop, enhance, and maintain Unix Shell scripts.
Analyze and support complex batch processing frameworks and job orchestration workflows.
Modify and optimize existing shell scripts for performance, reliability, and maintainability.
Troubleshoot Unix/Linux production issues related to scripts, batch jobs, deployments, and infrastructure.
Manage file handling, file transfers (FTP/SFTP), scheduling, job dependencies, and process automation.
Support containerized deployments using Docker and Kubernetes/OpenShift.
Work closely with development, QA, infrastructure, and support teams to resolve software and deployment issues.
Create operational documentation, deployment procedures, and implementation runbooks.
Collaborate with stakeholders to continuously improve automation, platform stability, and operational efficiency.

Compensation and Benefits

A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies.
