Job Summary

Provide end-to-end support, monitoring, and administration for multi-rack Oracle Exadata Database Machines (Database Nodes, Storage Servers, InfiniBand/RoCE switches).

​Platform Operations: Provide end-to-end support, monitoring, and administration for multi-rack Oracle Exadata Database Machines (Database Nodes, Storage Servers, InfiniBand/RoCE switches).
​Performance Optimization: Perform proactive system health checks, SQL tuning, IO resource management (IORM), and Cell Server performance diagnostics.
​Maintenance & Upgrades: Plan and execute quarterly patch applying (Grid Infrastructure, Database, Exadata Image/OS, Switch firmware) with minimal downtime.
​Infrastructure Reliability: Lead incident management, root-cause analysis (RCA), and high-availability design using Oracle RAC, Data Guard, and RMAN.
​Automation: Develop automation scripts (Shell, Python, Ansible) to streamline routine operational tasks and platform provisioning.

Skill Requirements

Required Qualifications

​Experience: 8+ years of hands-on experience managing and supporting Oracle Exadata environments at an enterprise scale.
​Core Tech Stack: Deep expertise in Oracle RAC, ASM, Exadata Cell Administration, Data Guard, and Enterprise Manager (OEM) 13c+.
​OS & Networking: Strong background in Linux system administration (RHEL/OEL) and database networking protocols.
​Problem Solving: Proven ability to troubleshoot complex hardware, OS, and database issues under SLA pressure.
​Preferred Qualifications
​Experience with cloud migrations (Oracle Cloud Infrastructure / OCI, AWS, or Azure).
​Relevant certifications (e.g., Oracle Exadata Database Machine Certified Specialist).
​Experience in telecommunications or large-scale data center environments

Compensation and Benefits

A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies.
