Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • Configure, build, test, and support Epic Beaker modules.
  • Gather and analyze laboratory workflow requirements from stakeholders.
  • Design and implement system enhancements and optimization initiatives.
  • Participate in application build, upgrades, integrated testing, and go-live support.
  • Develop and maintain system documentation, workflows, and build specifications.
  • Support defect resolution, incident management, and change requests.
  • Collaborate with interfaces, reporting, and integration teams.
  • Participate in validation activities and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Conduct end-user training and knowledge transfer sessions.
  • Provide operational and production support for laboratory applications.

Mandatory Skills

  • Epic Beaker Certification (AP Beaker and/or CP Beaker).
  • Strong understanding of Clinical Pathology (CP) and Anatomical Pathology (AP) workflows.
  • Experience in Epic build, configuration, testing, and implementation.
  • Knowledge of laboratory operations, specimen management, and result workflows.
  • Experience with healthcare interoperability standards including HL7.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience working within healthcare provider environments.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Compensation and Benefits

A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies. In addition, this role is eligible for the following benefits subject to company policies: medical, dental, vision, pharmacy, life, accidental death & dismemberment, and disability insurance; employee assistance program; 401(k) retirement plan; 10 days of paid time off per year (some positions are eligible for need-based leave with no designated number of leave days per year); and 10 paid holidays per year.
